Filming has wrapped on Season 2 of Netflix's Little House on the Prairie, and ten new actors have joined the cast, according to What's on Netflix. Production had been expected to run into November, so it finished a few weeks early.
Showrunner Rebecca Sonnenshine thanked the crew and the production partners CBS Studios, Anonymous Content and Netflix. The season adapts Laura Ingalls Wilder's On the Banks of Plum Creek.

Willa Dunn (Nellie Oleson), Charlotte Sullivan (Margaret Oleson) and Rachelle Lefevre (Eva Beadle) were announced earlier. Returning from Season 1 are Alice Halsey as Laura Ingalls, Luke Bracey as Charles Ingalls, Crosby Fitzgerald as Caroline Ingalls, Skywalker Hughes as Mary Ingalls and Warren Christie as John Edwards.
When Is It Coming?
Netflix has not announced a premiere date. What's on Netflix estimates a summer 2027 release, but that is its own projection, not an official date. Based on the episode listings, the season appears to run eight episodes.
