Filming had been underway in London since June. No details about the matter have been shared, and Deadline's sources said it is too early to tell whether the pause will affect the release date, which is currently February 18, 2028.

Reeves is writing and directing the sequel to his 2022 film. Robert Pattinson returns as Batman, with Colin Farrell, Jayme Lawson, Andy Serkis and Jeffrey Wright also back. Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan are among the newcomers.
